I called them out to look at the inside of my fireplace, he looked at it and told me that he could quote the repair or tell me an inexpensive way to fix the problem myself. I had expected that he would try to rip me off as most businesses do these days, but to my great surprise he was an honest person ! I’m grateful for this kind of person, there aren’t many left these days.

I’ve used CPCS four times so far, so I feel completely comfortable with giving them a five-star rating. Chris and his crew have always been punctual and honest. We had a $7,000 bid from another chimney company to replace our misaligned chimney flue. The other company explained what they were going to do, and it involved serious disassembly of the chimney. I called CPCS for a second opinion, telling them nothing about the first bid nor the disassembly plan. Chris looked at the problem, came up with a much better, much quicker, and much less invasive solution, and kept $5500 in my pocket. That was three years ago, and we have enjoyed the fireplace regularly ever since. Highly recommended.

They have performed 2 jobs for me now. The first they were low bid of 3 and 1/2 the price of the next bid. Don’t normally go with lowest bid but I thought the other bids were high and they have a good reviews on google. The firebox relining was flawless, outstanding job. The second was a call for a new chimney cap. They looked at it and said it was fine, but it needed water proofing. Rained several days later and the waterproofing work! Waterproofing much cheaper than a new cap. I no longer get competing estimates.
